CoD4 Map Pack Anncounced

Information regarding an upcoming multiplayer map-pack for (the 360 version of) COD4 has cropped up, in the form of an mini-page on Xbox.com. The pack will comprise of 4 new maps and will cost a whopping 800 Microsoft points (about £10). We think this is a ridiculous price-tag to slap on something so small, we don’t like micro-transactions but this is the wrong way of doing away with them! Who in their right mind would pay ten pounds of their hard-earned dosh on 4 measley maps? That works out at £2 per map, which may not sound like too much, but it all adds up. This is made worse by the fact that the Mass Effect add-on, which gives you an hour and a half of extra single player entertainment, costs only 400 points and it is made even worser by the fact that you can download many class maps for the PC version, for free!
